Erin Brockmeyer, LAc is a graduate of the esteemed Oregon College of Oriental Medicine right here in Portland, Oregon. She is thrilled to be a part of the acupuncture scene in Portland, and also regularly works with other healers in the local community. Erin has a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is nationally certified in acupuncture as well as in Chinese herbal medicine. Her license is current with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
Erin moved to SE Portland nine years ago from Madison, Wisconsin after deciding it would be fun to try life on the West coast. She arrived in late August, and for the next two months thought that Portland had the best weather she had ever witnessed, and she wondered why everyone didn’t live here. She since has grown to love the rain; always reminding herself that it could be snow.
She spends much of her time with her wonderful husband, an area arborist, and two-year-old son whom she thinks is brilliant and super cute. She enjoys baking, snowboarding, writing, spending time with friends, and hiking. She can often be seen out for strolls with her family, at the local park, or at her neighborhood New Seasons shopping for yummy organic foods.
Erin loves being a healer, and her specialties come from those areas with which she has firsthand knowledge:
She adores working with pregnant women and with the babies that follow.
She is always honored to be able to work with a couple who is on a journey to conceive, but is struggling with infertility.
As someone who has struggled with an anxiety disorder, she also has a fondness for helping those with mental and emotional disorders.
