Acupuncture and herbs have been used for thousands of years to safely and effectively enhance fertility. Chinese medicine can treat a wide variety of underlying fertility issues, including PCOS, endometriosis, and unexplained infertility. Living in or around Portland means that you have access to acupuncture and herbs to support your fertility.

At Solstice Natural Health we specialize in the treatment of fertility, and this means that we recognize the physical, mental, and emotional struggles that come with this journey. We have developed many tools over the years to help treat fertility issues holistically.

There are a variety of treatment options available to you:

Fertility preparation

This is for you if you live in/near Portland, and are planning to conceive within 6-12 months. You will receive a treatment plan that includes acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and self-care to prep your body for pregnancy.

You will learn how to read key fertility signs, and we will wade through any questions you may have. The result will be a deeper connection with your body, so that your odds of conceiving will increase. This type of treatment also allows us to catch any potential fertility issues before they interfere with pregnancy.

Fertility Enhancement/Treatment

This is for you if:

You suspect that you have fertility issues.

You have been diagnosed with fertility issues.

We don’t need you to wait a certain amount of time, or have a certain number of tests run to fit into this category. You know your body. and If you are worried that something is wrong, this treatment can only help. You will receive a custom treatment plan that includes acupuncture, herbs, supplements, and nutrition support. All of this is based on my years of experience, and the latest in natural and western medical research.

Your treatment plan varies depending on whether you are seeking all-natural remedies or if you are working in conjunction with a fertility specialist or OB-gyn. We reassess often, and your treatment plan changes with your symptoms and/or changing levels of medical intervention.

I have worked closely with ORM, OHSU, as well as with other Portland-area private Reproductive Endocrinologists. I am familiar with all of their treatment protocols, and the Western medicine involved. Our work together will be cohesive, and co-treatment with Portland’s REs is something I am glad to provide. I can offer pre-IUI treatment as well as onsite pre- and post-IVF transfer treatment at facilities that allow it.

Miscarriage Recovery and Subsequent Pregnancy Prep

Helping women recover from miscarriage is dear to my heart. If you have gone through a loss, you deserve support, guidance, and understanding. Whether you are in acute phases of recovery, or in the stages of trying to conceive again — support is available. Your level of need guides our individualized treatment plans. We discuss your mental, physical, and emotional status, and I make recommendations for your recovery based on this. Your treatment plan includes recommendations of any blood tests that may be helpful for you to request from your OB-gyn.

The resources I use depend on your needs, and on where you are in the grieving process. Our clinic is a safe space for you to discuss your loss, and to ask any questions about the implications of conceiving again.

Your treatment plan include nutrition advice, self-care, acupuncture, and possibly herbal medicine. I rely on my network of referrals when appropriate, with the goal of helping you heal physically and emotionally.

If you are attempting to conceive after a miscarriage, our treatment plan will prepare and support you physically and emotionally.

My support continues after you conceive, and at that time your treatment plan adjusts accordingly.
