Your First Visit

Here are a few things you should know before your first visit:

Make sure that you are not hungry, but not full.  You want to eat breakfast before a morning appointment, even if this is not something you normally do.

Wear comfortable clothing.  Gowns are available if I need to reach parts of the body which are normally covered, but most of the time wearing sleeves that can be pushed up to the elbows and pants that can go up to the knees allows plenty of access.

Bring all of your insurance information, as I am happy to bill your insurance company if they cover acupuncture.  If you have any questions as to whether you have acupuncture coverage, please contact me and I will check on your behalf.

I will send you some health history and financial forms, so please fill them out and bring them to your first appointment along with your insurance card (if applicable).
